SEEDING CONSCIOUSNESS

I am humbly grateful that Allyson and Alex Grey wrote the foreward to Seeding Consciousness. I have a great admiration for the contributions that Alex and Allyson have made to the psychedelic community. They have devoted their lives to this work and are wise elders of the movement. I hope someway I can uplift the work that they are doing with the sacred art temple that they are constructing, Entheon.

The title was inspired by something shared by Alex Grey about how art has the capacity to plant seeds of liberation in the mindstream of the viewer and be a catalyst for spiritual awakening. The name of these objects in Tibetan is Spongrall, translating as liberation through seeing. All the world’s wisdom traditions seek to embody spiritual presence in their creative expressions and teachings. This very same act can happen within ourselves as we connect with specific archetypes; we are “set free.” This is why the hero’s journey and the myths of ancient’s still draw us in; they unravel the stories in us and remind us to trust the sacred cycles in nature. Seeding Consciousness prepares the soil for the mystical experience. Mystical experiences can’t be guaranteed, but we can improve our chances of having them by doing the things outlined in this book.
